June 18, 2005 Festival

A Tibetan Festival was held to support the education of children in Tibet at the Annandale United Methodist Church (AUMC), 6935 Columbia Pike, on June 18, 2005, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The event featured a Tibetan cultural program; a rare public creation of a sand mandala by Venerable Tenzin Thutop (a Tibetan monk); a multimedia presentation on Tibet; both live and silent auctions; and sales of Tibetan arts and crafts.

Special Presentation
